Britain's Got Talent

Britain’s Got Talent is the number one entertainment show of the last decade, and the Got Talent format holds the Guinness World Record title for the world’s Most Successful Reality TV Format. Its YouTube channel, launched in 2009 has recently reached over one billion views. Britain’s Got Talent is one of only two British shows to have reached this milestone. It is also in the top 50 of most viewed YouTube channels in the world.

Thousands of hopefuls attempt to impress judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell. As well as the traditional applications, contestants are also permitted to enter the competition by uploading videos of their act via video-sharing site YouTube. The twenty most entertaining acts will go on to perform for the judges at the YouTube online audition round.

Britain’s Got Talent always attracts a diversity of talent. From dance troupes to acrobats, magicians to comedians, and dancing dogs, the show is open to any performer, of any age, from any background, with any talent. All the applicants need is a skill and star quality which they think will impress the judges.
