"We’re looking to the future to create the next generation of irresistible global entertainment hits...”
Along with my wonderfully creative team of development superheroes, we’re looking to the future to create the next generation of irresistible global entertainment hits, and with the legacy of Thames spanning some 50 years, we’re building on an incredible heritage.
My first steps onto the shiny floor of entertainment were at Celador (Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?), followed by five years at ITV Studios developing primetime ITV titles and producing and directing programmes including Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Come Dine With Me, Hell’s Kitchen and The Savoy.
But development is my first love, and I’ve been lucky to lead development teams at some of the industry’s most respected indies: Head of Format Development at Studio Lambert, devising and producing shows including Gogglebox, The Great British Interior Design Challenge, and Million Second Quiz for NBC; Head of Development at Outline Productions (Things We Can’t Say About Race That Are True); and Director of Development of Twofour label Boomerang, devising ITV’s fact-ent studio format What Would Your Kid Do?.
Our ambition is simply to create authentic entertainment for everyone - with the heart, humour and scale that Thames always delivers.
